El Mirage, Arizona

El Mirage is located just west of Phoenix in the northwest Valley of Arizona. Its early development started as a farming community, but today the city has developed into a thriving urban economy. El Mirage is home to more than 35,000 people. Its mission is to provide a quality of life for all its citizens. This city is close to Luke Air Force Base, the largest fighter-train base in the world, and the downtown Phoenix area.

El Mirage is part of the Phoenix-Mesa metropolitan area and is located along the Agua Fria River. This area of Arizona is home to several retirement communities and thriving manufacturing industry. The area is also surrounded by a number of parks covering thousands of acres in metro Phoenix. While the population of El Mirage is growing rapidly, the town retains its agricultural roots.

El Mirage was first settled by migrant farm workers in the early 1930s. These Mexican migrants helped to build the canals and harvested the first crops. While farming remains a central part of the local economy, it has also experienced a recent boom in the industry. Since the 1990s, the city has seen a population explosion. There are many new businesses, including many innovative companies. If you are looking for a place to call home, consider El Mirage!

The town of El Mirage can be accessed by car. Palmdale Boulevard will take you to 240th Street, which will turn into Avenue P. At the San Bernardino County line, Avenue P becomes El Mirage Road. Mountain View Road is the road that leads to the El Mirage OHV recreation area. If you plan to visit the area, be aware that there are a number of entrances to the town.

The El Mirage Library was formerly a fire station. Its new building contains a children’s area and a multi-purpose community room. There are many activities, as well as educational programs, and events that benefit the local community. El Mirage also has a large collection of books and movies for residents of all ages. If you’re planning to visit the El Mirage area, it is important to remember to bring the proper permits. A daily pass will last for 24 hours, and a season pass will last for one month. Senior and Veterans passes are not valid here. National Park Passes are not valid for this location. If you’re planning on bringing your own car or RV, you’ll have to purchase a permit for the El Mirage area.

In addition to these local attractions, El Mirage has plenty of public parks, a senior center, library, skateboard facility, water volleyball, horseshoes, lawn bowling, a softball team, and a community garden. El Mirage has a new fire and police station, and a 28,000 square-foot recreational facility managed by the YMCA. There’s something for everyone in the El Mirage community.

El Mirage has a booming retirement community, Pueblo El Mirage Golf Resort. Its year-round sunshine makes this Valley of the Sun a popular destination for retirees. Housing in El Mirage is not just for the elderly; more than half of the residents are under the age of 18 and have children. The median age in El Mirage is 25 years. It’s also a perfect location to raise a family.

A great place to go hiking is White Tank Mountain Regional Park, which encircles nearly 30,000 acres of desert. It features more than 25 miles of trails, restrooms, and a modest visitor center. The White Tank Mountains are my favorite place in Arizona, and I highly recommend hiking here. You’ll be amazed at the views you’ll get. Just be sure to bring your hiking boots or other outdoor equipment – El Mirage is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors.
